Material
—
We work with natural leathers, selected for their depth, texture, and ability to evolve over time. Subtle variations in tone, grain, and markings are inherent to these materials and may become more pronounced with wear.
Over time, the leather develops a patina—unique to each wearer. The vegetable-tanned leather linings will gradually darken and soften, developing a rich patina through use.
Care Instructions
—
For day-to-day care, gently wipe the leather with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust and surface dirt. Avoid excessive friction.
Leather is a living material and benefits from occasional nourishment.
Apply a neutral or lightly pigmented leather cream sparingly, using a soft cloth, to maintain suppleness and prevent drying or cracking. Always test on a discreet area first.
While leather can tolerate light exposure to moisture, it is not waterproof.
If your shoes become wet, allow them to dry naturally at room temperature. Insert paper to help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
Do not expose them to direct heat sources (radiators, sunlight), as this may stiffen or damage the leather.
Preserving the Shape
—
We recommend using a shoe horn when putting on your shoes. This reduces stress on the heel structure and helps maintain the original form.
When not in use, storing the shoes with shoe trees will help preserve their shape and absorb residual moisture.
Avoid prolonged storage in humid or unventilated environments.
Maintenance & Repairs
—
With time, soles and heels will naturally wear down. We encourage regular maintenance to extend the life of each pair.
A skilled cobbler can carry out most repairs, though we are always available to advise.
